Every Adventure Beyond Chania experience is different, so please check the specific details of your chosen tour before arrival. Our experiences include Quad Safaris from Kolymvari, Buggy Safaris from Souda, Private Boat Adventures and a growing collection of private tours across Chania and Crete.
Meeting points, duration, age requirements, inclusions and driving requirements may vary depending on the experience. Your booking confirmation will include the important information you need before your tour.

Come dressed for adventure. We recommend comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for your chosen activity, along with sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat during the warmer months.

If you are driving a Quad or Buggy, please bring your original valid driver’s licence. For beach and boat experiences, we recommend swimwear, a towel and sun protection.

Requirements may vary between experiences, so always check your booking confirmation before arrival.

Your safety comes first. Quad and Buggy drivers receive a safety briefing and vehicle familiarisation before departure, followed by a test drive before joining the tour.
Drivers must follow the guide’s instructions, respect traffic rules and maintain a safe distance from other vehicles. Helmets and any other required safety equipment must be worn as instructed. Reckless or unsafe driving is not permitted.

Boat Adventures & Private Tours: Meeting or pickup arrangements vary according to the selected experience.

Some experiences may include or offer pickup and transfer options. Please check your individual tour page and booking confirmation for the exact meeting point and arrival instructions.

Plans can change. Most of our experiences offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time, subject to the conditions of your booking.

Outdoor adventures are also affected by weather and local conditions. For safety reasons, routes may occasionally be adjusted, postponed or cancelled when conditions make an experience unsafe.

Please check the cancellation terms shown for your specific experience when booking, as conditions may vary between products and booking platforms. 

Visiting Chania on a cruise? Several of our experiences are designed to work around cruise schedules, including our Buggy Safaris from Souda and selected private shore excursions across Chania and Crete.

Our Souda Buggy base is conveniently located near the cruise port, while transfers can be arranged for selected experiences departing from other locations.
